Thinking Outside The Bud - Ben Rosman

Ben Rosman, CEO & Co-Founder, PSI Labs

Benjamin J. Rosman graduated from Wayne State University Law School and is a member of the State Bar of Michigan.  He has a background in Michigan medical cannabis law. He has counseled and successfully defended clients in medical marijuana related matters in both State and Federal jurisdictions.

Prior to co-founding PSI Labs, Ben began lobbying on behalf of PSI Labs and the greater medical marijuana industry. Since then, he has continued his efforts, working within the community as an ambassador for Safety Compliance Facilities, in the interest of good laboratory practice, sound science and patient safety.

PSI Labs was founded in 2015, and has built its reputation as the State of Michigan’s premier cannabis testing facility with a full-service, MMFLA (medical), MRTMA (adult-use), and MMMA (patient/caregiver) licensed laboratory, and a team of ever-growing, world class scientists that currently includes three scientists with a PhD and four with a MSc. PSI Labs was one of Michigan’s first licensed Safety Compliance Facilities under the MMFLA, and was the first lab to get licensed under MRTMA.

In February 2018, Ben founded MICIL (Michigan Coalition of Independent Cannabis Testing
Laboratories). MICIL is composed of independent third-party cannabis testing laboratories. MICIL's core mission is to use its unified voice to effect meaningful change, focusing on policy and legislation in matters of rule making, cannabis science and patient safety.

Mr. Rosman is a medical marijuana patient with epilepsy. He has successfully used medical cannabis to reduce his pharmaceutical seizure medications under the care of his neurologist.
